Fabrics for mountain climbing now grace Humanscale’s Freedom Chair

Two textiles in a total of 19 new colors expand design potential of the Freedom Chair, by Niels Diffrient for Humanscale. The two fabrics, Smooth and Vellum, were originally engineered for mountain climbing equipment and can withstand rigors of extreme climate conditions. More, the fabrics have four-way stretch for the flexibility, durability, and ability to respond to the shifts in weight of the human body.

As announced at NeoCon 2001
