Facet, Inc., developer of the Giza family of software solutions, has launched its strategic cooperation with Distribution Data Management Systems, Inc. (DDMS) and its subsidiary, Silver Plus Systems, Inc. (Silver Plus), which provides management software for dealers and distributors of office furniture. This alliance integrates Giza Specifier into Silver Plus’ eNsite and DDMS’ eNsite Pro software and provides customers with access to specification data from more than 120 manufacturers and 600 furniture product lines. According to Facet, with the eNsite and eNsite Pro software, dealers can go directly into Giza Specifier, build items and import them to the current order, without ever leaving eNsite’s order entry application. Dealers benefit from this alliance because eNsite graphical software is easy to use and can handle quotes. Also, dealers will be able to import any SIF-format specification file as an order by simply clicking a button in the order-entry window. The ultimate goal is to create a seamless experience for dealers who are using both eNsite and Giza.
