July 5, 2002—The Zweig Letter, the weekly management advisor for A/E/P and environmental consulting firms, has announced The Zweig Letter Hot Firm 2002 List of the 100 fastest-growing architecture, engineering, planning, and environmental consulting firms in the US, based on its annual national survey. The firms will be honored at The Zweig Letter Hot Firm Conference and Celebration in Boston on October 9-11, 2002.
Consulting engineering firm Stantec Consulting, the American arm of Canadian firm Stantec, earned the number-one spot on this year’s list.

The Zweig Letter Hot Firm 2002 List is based equally on percentage growth and dollar growth in gross revenue from fiscal year 1998 to fiscal year 2001. The list is limited to firms based in the US deriving the majority of their revenue from the practice of architecture, engineering, planning, environmental consulting, or allied disciplines. Only firms that were in business as of January 1, 1998 and had 1998 revenue of $1 million or greater were eligible.
