March 27, 2002—Alliant Energy has selected FBG Service Corporation as facility manager for their new 300,000 square foot World Headquarters building in Madison, Wisconsin. FBGs on-site facility manager will oversee housekeeping, mechanical services, construction maintenance support, handyman services, snow removal and lawn maintenance in this landmark property.
Alliant Energy Corporation is an energy-services provider with operations both domestically and internationally that provides electric, natural gas, water and steam services to over three million customers worldwide.
FBG also provides ground sterilization, snow removal, janitorial, pest control, lawn maintenance and other services to 2,000 other Alliant Energy properties in Iowa, Illinois, Minnesota and Wisconsin. The Alliant Energy-FBG management team that oversees the outsourcing effort was nominated for the IFMA Facility Management Award in 2001.
