Feng Shui for Business

Recently more and more large scale projects like shopping centers and entire city sections in Asia (as well as in the U.S.) have employed Feng Shui consultants, albeit in a very covert manner. Simona F. Mainini explains why.

When I first began to study Traditional Feng Shui (also know today in Hong Kong as Scientific Feng Shui) I realized that this was a very advanced system, soundly grounded in scientific principles, and one that had been developed, tested, and repeated over many, many centuries. But coming from an academic background I was naturally very skeptical of it at first, and it took me a very long time to accept the accuracy of what I was experiencing as I applied it’s teachings to the houses and offices of my friends and family.

The main reason why I was interested in Feng Shui to begin with was to help improve people’s wellbeing. Feng Shui is based on the concept of how to attract, maintain, support, and benefit from using life-force energy (Qi). Therefore, the better designed a building was to accommodate the life-force energy, the more “energized” from this Qi a person would be in it, hence healthier and with a longer life.

But perhaps the question that still puzzled me the most was, “How can Feng Shui help people earn more money?” Apparently businesses in Hong Kong were the most avid users of Feng Shui services, seeking it to expand and maintain their financial success. And after I did any consultation that revealed a house or an office space to be “bad for money,” I would apply the particular theory needed in it to attract more money and would recommend that the client build a fountain in a certain area, or reorient their bed, or their desk, or even utilize a certain color or material in the space and, sure enough, things would always change and improved for them in their finances.

This intrigued me, so I started to study “successful” buildings that weren’t originally designed with Feng Shui in mind, but had a known track record of hosting individuals, businesses, and organizations that were always successful.

What I found out was that all buildings that brought long-lasting success were “luckily” designed the right way in the first place. I also found out that very seldom would the same architect or designer have that kind of “luck” on every building he or she designed. So sometimes a company would start out in a small facility and be very successful, but then, when they moved to a larger facility elsewhere they would often begin having problems because the new building they moved into didn’t have as good of Feng Shui as the one they left.

Consulting with a Traditional Feng Shui Master before buying, designing, or building a new business property will ensure you keep your success high and do not choose a building that will work against you. Feng Shui provides the “inside wisdom” of the building to achieve long-lasting success within it. If you are experiencing “unexplainable” difficulties in your company or your business, I suggest you consult with a Feng Shui expert. You will no doubt find many solutions to help you achieve your financial goals and overall well-being.
