June 24, 2002—eXI Wireless Inc announced that its subsidiary, HOUNDware Corporation, has signed an agreement to provide an asset management and inventory tracking system to The CAT Rental Store, a division of Finning International.
The CAT Rental Store will license HOUNDware’s asset management software and purchase a wireless tracking solution to monitor the whereabouts of their tools and equipment. This initial order of $48,000 includes one installation at CAT’s main warehouse in Edmonton and a second installation in the field at the Albian Sands Project in Ft. McMurray, Alberta.
