The Baltimore-based international architecture firm RTKL Associates Inc. has been awarded an architectural design contract for Firelands Community Hospital in Sandusky, Ohio. The existing 150-bed, T-shaped structure will be expanded by the construction of additions on the north and south ends of the existing facility. The 34,000-square-foot expansion and renovation project is to be completed by the end of the year.
