FIS to provide Wachovia with enterprise management technology

December 26, 2001—Facility Information Systems Inc. (FIS) has begun implementing its Facility Management (FIS/FM) software system for Wachovia Corporation, the fourth-largest bank holding company in the United States. The software will allow Wachovia to track, plan and manage in-house the use of its more than 30 million square feet of corporate real estate.

At the end of the implementation process, Wachovia decision-makers will be provided with information on corporate real estate management, as well as the operation of and planning for office space and equipment across Wachovia’s corporate real estate. This includes data such as lease agreements and deployment of people and equipment across the company operations. The data is delivered in real time through a Web format and an Internet browser.

FIS’ ability to integrate its software with legacy systems was a major factor in its selection by Wachovia. For more information, contact FIS.
