SpaceManagement and AssetManagement are FIT’s new facilities management add-on applications for their CADVANCE Windows-based Computer-Aided Design (CAD) system. SpaceManagement and AssetManagement were developed to assist CADVANCE users manage facilities by linking graphic information to entities and also providing query and customized reporting functions.
SpaceManagement is designed to help manage a single building, building complex, or several buildings by utilizing CADVANCE drawings. SpaceManagement calculates total project area size, which is important in determining cost and billing. Multiple drawings can be opened simultaneously, and drawings and databases can be integrated in a single place. Eight types of reports are included, which are fully customizable for individual FM projects.
AssetManagement enables users to track and manage furniture, equipment, and other components within the facilities. Projects can be created, updated, and modified with user-definable information fields.
