FlameOuts mobile fire-suppressing caddy prevents commercial fire destruction

November 7, 2003—Western Fire, the wildland firefighting and foam specialists distributor of Summit Environmental Corporation, Inc., was called into service recently to aid in the fighting of the savage fires in California.

FlameOut, Summit’s patented fire suppressing agent, was approved by the United States Forestry Service in May 2003. FlameOut is the only non-toxic product on the QPL (Quality Products List) under standard 5100-307.

During August 2003, FlameOut was used by Just-In Case Fire in the Kootenay National Park in Canada to save a 90-year old landmark by spraying the landmark down with FlameOut via sprinklers attached to a Fire Caddy.

Fire Caddies were called into service in California also. Several units were sold to individual property owners according to Mark Hayes, President of Just-In Case Fire of Calgary, Alberta.

Northeast County Mutual Insurance Company out of North Dakota issues fire coverage with discounts for Farm and Ranch coverage if the property owner owns a Fire Caddy with FlameOut. If FlameOut through the Fire Caddy is used in the containment of the fire, the company will waive the insured’s deductible.

The Fire Caddy is a mobile fire fighting system that can be transported like a two-wheel dolly. The Fire Caddy is manufactured exclusively with FlameOut. Also, just released is the Hose Caddy which fits on the end of a garden hose.
