FMx Limited introduces Blackberry-friendly FM software

January 18, 2006—The latest version of the renowned facilities management software CAFM Explorer is being launched this month—with added Blackberry capabilities.

CAFM Explorer 2005, the fruits of FM software company FMx Limited, has been upgraded to tap into the growing mobile business market, making it even more of a future-proof product than before, says the company.

The latest product, called simply ‘2005,’ has been two years in the making and has been developed with considerable input from CAFM Explorer’s current users themselves.

The upgraded product reflects the wishes of an independent User Group, which put together a list of requirements for software to manage their facilities.

These include providing an extensive yet simple-to-navigate reports portfolio, a totally flexible method to create non-standard reports and opening up the system to allow the user to link up CAFM Explorer to other business systems including their in-house finance or HR systems.

FMx are the authors and owners of the intellectual property rights for CAFM Explorer as well as owning the UK trademark for CAFM. For more on the company, visit its Web site.
