With the SensorSAFE option, infrared sensors “see” the presence of a container below the chute and control the dispensing of ice and water. Dispensing begins when the container is placed below the chute and stops cleanly when the container is withdrawn.
With no lever for the container to touch and no button to push, there is less possibility for contamination and a higher level of sanitation — especially important for employee break rooms and hospital applications.
Symphony dispensers with SensorSAFE actuation are available in wall mount, countertop, and freestanding configurations, with 12, 25, 50, or 90 pounds of storage and 400 lbs of daily ice production.
