GE Supply opens retail construction center

April 2, 2003—GE Supply, the international electrical products distribution business of the General Electric Company, has introduced a new Retail Construction Center (RCC), located in Indianapolis.

Conceived primarily to serve the nationwide construction needs of “big box” retailers, the RCC is also a resource for smaller retail developers. It provides a single point of contact for immediate access to more than 200,000 electrical, voice, data, and security products. The RCC is staffed by a retail-focused service team assisting customers with switchgear and lighting design, take-offs, and comprehensive project management.

According to Lighting Product Manager Christopher Cappo, the RCC provides customers with uniform national pricing and local market support from 135 GE Supply locations across the U.S.
