This process eliminates the need for a separate crew to install building wrap, which, says Georgia- Pacific, helps reduce costs and can save time on a construction project. Nautilus panels can also resist rain and moisture during the construction period, which can help avoid costly moisture-related problems.
The code-compliant Nautilus panels are installed like typical wall sheathing. When seams are sealed with code-compliant Nautilus 3-inch-wide seam tape, the walls are protected against air leaks, which help improve energy efficiency.
