Getting true redundancies with MGE UPS’s new Pulsar Esprit

July 27, 2001—The new Pulsar Esprit 1.4kVA backs up two servers for more than 10 hours, which is ample time, says its developer MGE UPS Systems, to ride through most prolonged power outages. This new power protection solution for computer data centers, networks, and telecom systems has external battery module for true redundancy. In addition the new system further enhances total power availability with infinitely expandable battery modules and a suite of unsurpassed “Internet-grade” monitoring and communications features, says MGE. The system includes Windows 2000 integration and XML web-based management. More, says MGE, Esprit provides maximum availability with this comprehensive feature set at a cost comparable to that of a standard-availability UPS.
