June 23, 2006—Inscape Corporation has introduced Storwal, a new storage-based solution for open plans that blends fixed and movable components and delivers plug-and-play access to desk height with or without panels.
Displayed at NeoCon, it received a Gold Award in the Files and Storage category in the Best of NeoCon competition. Storwal offers the ability to change only what is actually needed, as opposed to having flexibility that is expensive and may be underused. It can be specified using three stacking storage wall modules: 30″, 36″, or 42″ wide, with a full range of drawer configurations.
Integral with each Storwal base module is desk-height lay-in cabling and plug-and-play access to voice/power/data. Storage walls act as smart spines with worktops and connecting panels defining individual workspaces.
Storwal features an integrated palette of colors, finishes, and textures. Durable composite wood veneers are rift cut, requiring no book-matching. Using patented Nuform technology, it achieves the look of real wood without the cost.
Doors can be ordered in hinged with translucent fronts, or tambour in satin aluminum finish. Monolithic or segmented screens and panels can be specified to suit esthetic or budgetary considerations.
