December 19, 2007—Good Environmental Choice Australia Ltd (GECA), manager of the Australian Ecolabel Program, has issued a Good Environmental Choice Australia Standard for Cleaning Products. It identifies environmental, quality, regulatory and social performance criteria that products sold on the Australian market can meet in order to be considered as good environmental practice.
The Standard specifies environmental performance requirements of general purpose and laundry cleaning products for the Australian Ecolabel Program. For more information, see the Web site.
