On July 25, 2000, Drawbase Software, a wholly owned subsidiary of Graphisoft and developer of Drawbase® — an integrated software solution used to design, draw, track, and manage facilities — announced today that the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) has for the third consecutive year renewed its software maintenance and support services contract for the Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support (DMLSS) system.
In 1997, Drawbase software was selected to help improve medical logistics responsiveness, drive down costs, and provide a high-quality integrated system for the Department of Defense medical facilities. The goal of DMLSS is to meet the needs of the medical treatment and field medical units at a competitive price, while providing the best possible medical logistics Automated Information System (AIS) for the DoD and their health facilities throughout the U.S.
“Drawbase has recently completed a significant upgrade to our DMLSS 2.02 release that includes the addition of several integrated features that provide our customers with one-button functions and reports,” states Jim Aitkin, DMLSS-FM project manager. “With those advances and the solid working relationship we’ve built together, DMLSS is looking forward to an even more productive joint effort in the coming year.”
