December 20, 2004—Green Quest Technology has developed a product that can effectively remove harmful bacteria from the air and prevent the spread of other harmful organic compounds. The product is a photo catalyst named Titan, a liquid that is sprayed or rolled onto walls, cabinet doors, and other surfaces. The coating is said to work for many years, protecting the air up to 15 feet away. Titan purifies the air through decomposition.
Airborne particulates of mold, bacteria, smoke, viruses, and many other airborne contaminants are eliminated, making sick building syndrome a thing of the past, says Green Quest. Estimates place the cost of lost time in America due to Sick Building Syndrome at $65 billion each year.
Used outside, Titan will also decompose grime and filth from the side of a building and make it self-cleaning. It converts carbon monoxide into carbon dioxide, which in turn feeds trees, which convert the carbon dioxide into clean oxygen.
Titan, after years of scientific research in technical laboratories, has been favorably tested in the New York-New York Hotel in Las Vegas as well as a major hotel in San Diego.
