GSA announces public sector design awards

April 9, 2007—The US General Services Administration (GSA) recently announced the winners of its 2006 Design Awards, given to recognize public projects that exhibit innovative design in a range of categories from modernization and preservation, to sustainability and engineering.

A jury of private sector professionals chaired by Boston architect Joan Goody reviewed 121 entries for this cycle of GSA awards, and chose 18 projects, listed below by category, project, location, and architect.
