GSA’s Center for Historic Buildings announces winners for 2003 Heritage Awards

May 5, 2003—Winning projects for the 2003 Public Buildings Service Heritage Awards were recently announced by the Center for Historic Buildings during a ceremony hosted by the U.S. General Services Administration.

The Heritage Awards program recognizes exemplary preservation projects and initiatives that further GSA’s stewardship goals. A jury of preservation and design professionals selected winning projects. Awards were presented in five categories: Completed Alterations; Adaptive Use; Conservation and Restoration; Education, Outreach and Community Involvement; and, Stewardship. The awards were presented to the project teams by F. Joseph Moravec, Commissioner of GSA’s Public Buildings Service, at a ceremony held at the Hotel Monaco in Washington, D.C.

The following 2003 Heritage Awards recognize achievements in the preservation and stewardship of GSA’s historic buildings.

Completed Alterations and Upgrades
