May 14, 2007—LED Folio Corporation, a maker of cutting-edge, energy-efficient solid state lighting fixtures, has contracted with Gucci for the illumination of its pilot store in midtown Manhattan.
More than 1,500 feet of LED Folio’s LinearLux fixtures will be placed along the facade of the Gucci store and entrance to the famed Trump Tower on 5th Avenue between 57th and 58th streets and will provide energy-efficient illumination for the exterior and interior of the store. Construction is already underway and is slated for completion in the fall.
