August 1, 2001—New Jersey-based ez-cross, Inc., one of the newest online services in the multifamily housing industry, has reached an agreement to partner with HandySource.com, a bid and purchase e-commerce Web site that enables subscribing members to streamline and manage purchasing activities for maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) supplies.
ez-cross launched its online product cross-referencing and price comparison service in May 2001. Using its database, customers can get instant price comparisons, automatically format purchase orders for submission to the lowest cost suppliers, and save frequently ordered items to make repeat buying easy.
Through the partnership, ez-cross will incorporate its service directly into the existing HandySource purchase order system.
