December 19, 2005—Haworth Inc. has launched a comprehensive surface collection Web site. The site offers three menus: one for standard finishes, one for Haworth+ (the new fabric alliance program with Carnegie, Luna Textiles and Maharam) and one, launching soon, for COM’s.
In the standard finish section of the surface collection Web site, users can click on hard surface (such as trims, laminates and wood) and fabric options (such as wallcoverings and metal) to view quick reference pages, says Haworth. These pages have thumbnail images of the finishes, pattern names, grade listings (if applicable) and Haworth product line compatibilities. An advanced search feature allows users to quickly sort materials in a variety of ways.
The website also features general information sections that provide more information about the Haworth surface collection. The resources section provides care and maintenance information, a glossary, cutting directions, COM information, ACT & test standards, warranty information and obsolete finishes information.
