August 23, 2002—Indus International Inc., a leading global supplier of enterprise asset management software and services, announces that Hemosol Inc. has selected Indus’s InSite as the asset management solution for the company’s new state-of-the-art, $90 million manufacturing facility, Meadowpine. Hemosol selected the software by Indus International because of InSite’s intuitive interface, configurable workflows, and business intelligence features. These will make the Hemosol maintenance processes more automated and will be able to maintain regulatory compliance. According to Hemosol, as the production at Meadowpine expands, with perhaps build additional facilities, the hosted model of the InSite solution will “help us reduce pressure on our IT resources and adapt to our changing system needs, without the hassles and expense of upgrading our in-house computers.”
