Henwood Energy Services, an energy software, consulting, and engineering firm recently released its Western Systems Coordinating Council (WSCC) market power map detailing load and resource forecasts for the 2001 summer.
The Henwood WSCC 2001 Interconnects and Power Flows map defines the power needs estimated for this coming summer in the WSCC power region, which includes fourteen Western states and British Columbia, Canada. This 3D map graphically depicts peak load, generation, and power flows in megawatts for twenty points in the WSCC, and forecasts them in on-peak and off-peak hours.
