Herman Miller’s PostureFit receives Attendees Choice Award at ergonomics conference

December 25, 2002—PostureFit by Herman Miller received the 1st Annual Attendees Choice Award at the National Ergonomics Conference and Exposition (NECE) in Las Vegas, Nevada, held December 9-12. The award is given to the ergonomic products that attendees perceive to offer the best opportunity to increase productivity and profitability, while improving workplace health and safety. Attendees at the conference chose from among thousands of the latest productivity-enhancing products and services from over 100 companies.

According to Herman Miller, a global provider of furnishings and services for the work environment, PostureFit’s custom-fitted design fills the void that exists between the sitter’s lower back and the back of the chair, and works with the body’s natural biomechanics to sustain the natural forward tilt of the pelvis. The forward tilt encourages proper spinal alignment and helps discourage slouching and its related physical problems, and also aids in reducing fatigue and improving lower back comfort.

Available on all three of Herman Miller’s Aeron chair sizes, PostureFit can also be retrofitted on Aerons previously purchased. Further information is available from authorized Herman Miller dealers, retailers, or by visiting Herman Miller as well as their ad on FMLink .
