September 27, 2004—HighPointe Group, a telecommunications site consulting and management company, announced that it has been selected to provide rooftop management services for the AON Center, Chicago’s second-tallest building. Wells Real Estate Funds tapped HighPointe for comprehensive rooftop management services — including rooftop auditing, contract negotiation, site marketing, RF engineering, round-the- clock access management and more.

AON Center, formerly known as the Amoco Building, is 83 stories high and will focus its activities on two-way providers, wireless data providers, broadcasters and other service providers who could benefit from the 1,100-foot building height.

The AON Center is a significant addition to the HighPointe portfolio, which now includes three of the tallest buildings in the nation. With more than 3,400 sites under management, HighPointe offers rooftop tenants major points of presence in New York, Chicago, Houston, San Francisco, Tampa, New Orleans, Atlanta and many other markets.

HighPointe, which manages more than 3,400 sites throughout North America, specializes in the unique service needs associated with wireless and wire-line collocation. Its team of managers is ideally positioned to mediate fairly and efficiently to best meet the specific needs of both carriers and building owners and able to more quickly respond to the needs of prospective rooftop tenants.
