September 5, 2001—HotStatus Enterprises recently released HotIOS, a business intelligence application that provides warehouse management, order fulfillment, and real-time multi-facility/multi-company visibility to order and inventory information.
HSE provides Internet-based warehouse management system (HotStock) and Internet-based visibility (HotVisibility) products and integrates them together to create HotIOS. This bundled solution is the foundation to any collaborative-hosted supply chain and provides alternatives to customers that utilize third party providers (3PLs) for their warehousing requirements or for their own distribution networks that have disparate systems.
HotIOS allows a company to take advantage of a supply chain event process without system interfaces. The HotIOS product not only becomes a mechanism to provide visibility of order information, but may also be used as a WMS to manage the inventory at the distribution center.
