ICC to broadcast code development hearings over the Internet

April 5, 2002—The International Code Council (ICC) will offer a free streaming video broadcast over the Internet of the next round of code development hearings. The hearings, scheduled for April 8-19, are an important part of the code development process. All Track 1 hearings will be broadcast live. Code Development Hearings and are scheduled to begin at 8 a.m. and conclude at 8 p.m. (EDT), except April 14 when the hearing begins at 10 a.m. The hearings can be seen free by anyone with Internet access. Minimum specifications for viewing the hearings are an Internet connection, sound card, and Microsoft Windows Media Player. DSL, ISDN, Cable Modems, or other leased-line connections are recommended for the best viewing experience. A dial-up modem connection will work, but with reduced video performance.
