August 14, 2002—ICF Consulting — a management, technology, and policy consulting firm — has been selected by the District of Columbia’s Office of Homeland Defense to reach out to the private sector regarding emergency management needs in light of heightened concerns since September 11, 2001. The firm will be providing its emergency preparedness expertise in planning and training directly to the DC government as a service for employers.
The ICF Consulting Emergency Management Practice also supports the US Department of Justice, the Federal Emergency Management Agency, the US Environmental Protection Agency, and other federal, state, and local clients.
