June 11, 2007—IdealSeal 777 is the new, high-performance, multi-layer, total vapor barrier aluminum foil insulation laminate from Ideal Tape Co., Inc., an American Biltrite Company. IdealSeal 777 has been engineered to generate substantial cost savings through its simple, easy-to-use features, which reduce application time and material waste on the job, according to the company.
With high puncture resistance and tear strength, IdealSeal 777 is virtually damage resistant, the company says.
IdealSeal 777 covers and fully protects ductwork and piping insulation under a wide range of interior and exterior conditions. When used outside, explains the company, it can withstand temperatures below zero. Code compliant, IdealSeal 777 meets or exceeds all UL 723 requirements.
Especially designed for new construction and retrofit applications, IdealSeal 777 is high-strength aluminum, finished in a choice of a smooth or embossed surface. As an environmental bonus, IdealSeal 777 is antimicrobial to prevent damaging mold growth and extend the protective life of the laminate.
IdealSeal 777 is boxed in the company’s patent-pending dispenser carton, which steadies the laminate for precise cutting. A courtesy kit of installation basics (razor, straight edge, tape measure, pencil) is included.
