March 9, 2005—International Diversified Marketing Inc. (IDM) has introduced an enhanced diffuser with a built-in air filtration system, the Comfort First Filtered Diffuser. The sequel to the Control-A-Flow Draft Eliminator and Breathe Easy devices combines the best features of both these products into one sleek and integrated ceiling supply diffuser, the company says.
The Comfort First Filtered Diffuser addresses the two biggest complaints in today’s offices: drafts from overhead diffusers, and illness and allergic reactions from polluted ductwork, the company says.
It combines four-way adjustable horizontal airflow while four filters cover each discharge point on the inside of the diffuser, filtering air as it enters the room, removing pollutants as small as 0.3 microns, including many mold and mildew spores, bacteria, pollens and more, the company says. With no airflow discharging straight down, complaints of cold drafts blowing on workers is eliminated.
