September 15, 2003—All 14 European Chapters of IFMA will become members of the European Facility Management Network (EuroFM), bringing together all of the leading professional associations, academic and research institutions into one European collaborative network, representing nearly every country in the European region.
As well as the IFMA Chapters’ collaboration in the network groups of Education, Research and Practice, EuroFM and IFMA headquarters in Houston, Texas, USA, will work together on common projects such as the annual European FM Conference and research and education initiatives. The IFMA Chapters will be welcomed at the next members’ meeting in Vienna on 25/26 September 2003.
The common purpose of the EuroFM network is to advance the knowledge and understanding of facilities management through education, research and practice, and to represent the interests of the profession in a pan-European setting. Its membership comprises professional associations, research organizations, educational institutions and corporate associates throughout Europe.
