More than 50 improvements and new features makes the overall design process more efficient while delivering specific enhancements for Mechanical and Architectural design.
TurboCAD v8 Professional introduces a new Design Director that allows users to organize, access and explore design alternatives easily. Layers, Workplanes, Views, Lights, and Cameras can be controlled from a single palette. Layer Sets, Light Sets and Camera Sets can be created, named and saved so that they can be transported easily to different designs. Using Categories and Graphics, users view and assign properties to special selection sets without the constraint of Layers. Other general design enhancements include a new Section tool, which “slices” single or multiple 3D objects to create 2D cross-sections and 3D sections.
