Rentokil Initial is establishing a new facilities management division to be headed by director Stephen Fretwell. The FM division will develop multi-servicing—a wide range of services for a single customer, including catering, cleaning, hospital, and management services. Because of corporate restructuring, the company will discontinue cyclical businesses, accounting for a third of its sales and a fifth of its profits, to focus on its core areas of property services, hygiene services, pest control, parcel delivery, and security.
