September 29, 2006—Independent facilities management company Incentive FM has secured a three year extension of its contract with Colgate Palmolive.
Incentive says the decision comes after it delivered a 10% savings on the operating budget for Colgate Palmolive’s head office in Guildford, in the United Kingdom.
Colgate Palmolive’s in-house FM left the company in 2002, and the company decided to outsource at that point. Incentive reduced costs from the start of the contract, notably in the catering area, and more recently has installed its Web-based visitor management system and is currently implementing its stock control module within the onsite staff shop, says Incentive.
As part of the renewed contract the firm will expand its building management remit. It will also continue to provide a range of maintenance and support services.
Incentive FM is an independently owned facilities management company that regularly helps clients save at least 20% from facilities and maintenance costs, while achieving considerable service improvements. For more information, see the Web site of Incentive FM.
