August 28, 2002—Indus International Inc., a supplier of enterprise asset management software and services, and NRX Global Corp., a provider of equipment information management solutions, have signed a software partnership agreement that will allow customers to use the IndusBuyDemand product line to integrate to NRXs Visual Plant System (VPS) equipment information repository.
The delivery of VPS with Indus enterprise asset management (EAM) solutions will increase employee productivity, says Indus, and expedite the procurement process by enabling fast response to maintenance work requests through improved access to technical equipment documentation and parts catalogs.
The software partnership will enable NRX and Indus to provide their joint customer base with seamless integration of their critical parts and equipment information and maintenance management applications. Extended functionality will also enable Indus users to “fast track” identification of parts using VPS visual “asset-based” navigation. Within VPS, users will be able to query their EAM system for available inventory of parts and seamlessly enter parts information into their Materials Request page.
