Indus InSite enhances tenant services at property management firm Harwood Intl

August 21, 2002—Harwood, the multinational property management company, has selected Indus InSite to enhance and improve its facility maintenance systems. InSite is reportedly the first collaborative facilities and asset management solution built from the ground up as a pure Internet application.

Signing a subscription agreement for the hosted solution, Hardwood deployed InSite as an easy-to-access and easy-to-use solution for tenant communications regarding suite and building maintenance concerns, allowing Harwood to further optimize operational effectiveness and continue providing superior tenant service.

Indus InSite provides a Web-based interface and innovative decision support tools that will help transform Harwood’s complex building-related data into business intelligence and deliver the information to appropriate personnel in an easy-to-understand graphical format-regardless of geographical location, internal IT infrastructure or native language.

Using InSite, Harwood’s tenants and tenant coordinators will need only a standard Web browser and an Internet connection to record problems, log service requests, check on the status of logged requests, and view a history of maintenance activities.

Through its role-based Inbox interface, InSite will automatically deliver pertinent information to the tenant coordinators, maintenance engineers, and other users, giving them the information needed to perform assigned tasks. As a result, InSite will accelerate Harwood responses to tenant requests for service, reducing time between a logged request and resolution of the issue.
