Eight companies received Grand Prize Winner status during NeoCon World’s Trade Fair in Chicago in the annual Innovations Awards competition sponsored by Buildings magazine and BI (Building Interiors magazine). The program highlights building products that solve facility problems.
Approximately 175 entries were submitted in eight categories. Top winners were named in each category, They are:
Computer support: Active Input Solutions, for Easy Motion CPM Input System.
Energy Efficiency: Lencore Acoustics Corp., for Lencore Specta Sound Masking.
Environmental Solutions: Forbo Linoleum, for Marmoleum flooring.
Product Performance and Ease of Use: Dynasound, Inc., Sound Masking Div., for DS 1317 c/rs Cylindrical Pendant Mount Masker.
Safety & Accessibility: Crossville Porcelain Stone/USA, for Cross-Grip flooring.
Workplace Aesthetics: Lees Carpets, for NeoFloor carpet.
Workplace Flexibility: KI, for WireWorks Panel system.
Workplace Productivity: SMART Technologies, for Rear Projection SMART Board 3000i.
