The VE-Toolkits enhancements include the addition of climate, building, and material metrics; feedback on availability of natural resources, water use and renewable/low carbon technologies, and new LEED credit capabilities.

IES’ VE-Toolkits contain typical model properties and data to choose from, meaning users do not need detailed information in order to undertake analysis. This enables quick and effective feedback direct from early architectural models. Rich, visual, automated and interactive reporting is also offered. The VE-Toolkits are accessed via IES’ Autodesk Revit and Google SketchUp plug-ins, enabling architects to undertake sustainable design analysis direct from these 3D models.
