Interface Inc., a provider of integrated flooring and facility solutions for commercial interiors, has selected the mySAP.com e-business platform—produced by e-business software provider SAP—to enhance its global e-business offerings to customers. Specifically, Interface will implement the industry-specific mySAP Mill Products solution, which it will use to help manage its American and European fabrics, carpet, and tile divisions as well as organize its manufacturing operations while cutting costs and increasing supply chain efficiency.
Interface hopes mySAP.com will provide better visibility for its divisions worldwide, more enhanced OEM support, and stronger distribution channel management. The company expects this venture to result in reduced delivery time for products and more efficient access to information, applications, and services.
