InterfaceFABRIC changes name to True, Inc.

June 4, 2008—InterfaceFABRIC, the largest US commercial contract manufacturer of interior fabrics, has changed its name to True, Inc. True is a leading provider of fabrics for the office, healthcare, hospitality, institutional, congregational and automotive markets.

The renaming completes the company’s ownership transition since Sun Capital Partners, Inc., a private equity firm, purchased it from Interface, Inc., in mid-2007.

“Our corporate mission and core values will remain unchanged,” said Rob Harper, senior vice president of sales and marketing of True, Inc. “True is committed to delivering the quality, innovative and sustainable products and business practices our customers have come to expect.

As a stand-alone company, though, we are able to be more nimble and responsive, and offer complete transparency to all of our stakeholders.”

True will showcase its product line at NeoCon World’s Trade Fair 2008 on June 9 to 11, 2008, in showroom #1033A at the Merchandise Mart in Chicago, Ill.

The company manufactures Terratex, the industry’s first collection of recycled polyester commercial fabrics. The products are created using 100 percent recyclable or renewable materials, and at the end of their useful life, they are recyclable or compostable.

The company also created the award-winning ReSKU fabric reclamation program. ReSKU reclaims polyester panel fabrics previously introduced into the marketplace, shreds them, and then creates a material that can be used as a replacement for polyurethane foam in seating and other components.
