Steelcase Inc. has just announced the introduction of the International Collection, a compilation of flexible and functional office furnishings, to the North American market. The collection is made up of three design groups called WerndlTM EmergeTM, TNTTM, and Please. Werndl Emerge and TNT both combine fixed and flexible characteristics.
Werndl Emerge is a furniture solution that offers numerous reconfiguration options and flexibility. It is built around the new Emerge desk system and its ability to create light, simple, and adaptable formations. The design features include adjustable legs, removable casters, mobile worksurfaces, and surfaces available in a variety of materials. Emerge also offers adjustable shelving, and a series of fixed and mobile storage units.
TNT is composed of three groups called core elements, peripheral elements, and nomadic elements that can be chosen and combined, much like selections on an “a la carte” menu. The core elements of TNT consist of a variety of work surfaces — straight, transition, angled, wave, and interactive — and versatile legs. Peripheral elements consist of straight and multifunctional metal shelves, cable management, numerous privacy screens, and accessory rails supporting Details worktools. Nomadic elements include mobile storage units and tables which can be wheeled in and out of the office and specific work areas.
