Invista’s new Stainmaster carpet protection keeps fibers cleaner

July 30, 2008—Invista is introducing a new Stainmaster chemistry, the company announced. All Stainmaster carpet fiber now feature the new LotusFX Fiber Shield for a more uniform fiber coverage and fast, easy soil release, according to the company. This new formulation enables their fiber to stay up to 30% cleaner and last up to 50% longer than other carpets in a recent comparison test conducted by Hall & Partners Brand Study.

The LotusFX Fiber Shield is manufactured using Invista’s proprietary formula, and the carpets stay up to 30 percent cleaner and last up to 50 percent longer than other carpets, according to a Hall & Partners Brand Study for Invista.

Stainmaster is the registered trademark for the Invista brand of carpet and area rugs that are manufactured using a proprietary system of ingredients and specifications. Stainmaster carpet and rugs are manufactured using premium type 6,6 nylon, which has a unique structure that differs from ordinary nylon. It resists the penetration of stains and soil, while also resisting matting and crushing.
