IPEX expands WarmRite product line with K-Tile underlayment

May 16, 2005—A new underlayment, K-Tile, has been designed by IPEX specifically for use with its WarmRite Floor hydronic radiant heating system, according to the company.

IPEX explains that K-Tile can be quickly installed in new construction or renovation projects because of its engineered thermoplastic, and lightweight design. K-Tile is ideal for wood sub floors or concrete slabs in residential or commercial buildings, says the company.

K-Tile’s one part 12″ x 12″ modular design can be easily modified to create 6″ x 12″ and 6″ x 6″ squares with no tools required. Each K-Tile features integral tabs and slots for quick installation of the system, designed to hold the tiles in place while allowing for any expansion or contraction.

IPEX is known for its extensive range of thermoplastic piping systems for the radiant heating, mechanical, plumbing, electrical industrial, municipal markets. For more information see the company Web site.
