ISSA launches free video clips on cleaning industry, business management issues

June 20, 2007—ISSA (International Sanitary Supply Association) has released the latest of an ongoing series of free online educational video clips on cleaning industry and business management issues. Two new clips are scheduled to debut each month throughout 2007.

  • “Inventory Management” by John Schreibfeder asserts that cooperation is the key to achieving effective inventory management.

  • “Effective Presentations” by Stephen Boyd provides five easy, quickly implemented “wow factors” that will keep listeners attentive during a presentation, and help them retain the message.

  • “Motivation” features Dr. Fred Broder, who encourages viewers to move out of their comfort zone to find and implement those ideas that will generate the biggest improvements in their life.

  • “Floor Safety,” by Steve Spencer of State Farm Insurance Co., relates the importance of floor safety and provides guidelines vital to preventing slip and fall accidents

  • “Proactive Customer Service” features Jim Pancero, one of ISSA’s highest-rated trainers, as he counsels viewers on outstanding customer service and meeting the needs of their customers.

  • “Business in China ” by Tom Faranda explains the potential impact the China market will have on future business in the US and around the world, and why companies should consider taking advantage of the opportunities in this huge marketplace. He also provides valuable tips on approaching the Chinese market.

ISSA has also produced two fun and educational music videos from Dr. Carl Winter:

  • “We Are the Microbes” contains two song parodies: “Microbes They Might Kill You” (after Queen’s “We Will Rock You”) and “We Are the Microbes” (after Queen’s “We are the Champions”); and

  • “You Better Wash Your Hands” (after the Beatles’ “I Want to Hold Your Hand”) addresses food safety and cleanliness.
