March 28, 2008—ISSA (International Sanitary Supply Association) has released three more of an ongoing series of free online educational video clips on cleaning industry and business management issues. Two new clips debut each month. The most recent clips include:
- “The Stained Chair Challenge” by Jeff Bishop—tips and techniques on how to remove stains from chairs using a pre-conditioning agent, vacuum, extractor, and safety equipment;
- “Trend Mining” by John Delaney—ways to find business growth opportunities by analyzing the major industry trends, including one of the seven megatrends recently defined by ISSA: “Power to the Occupant;” and
- “The Future of Cleaning” by Bill Griffin—technological and industrial changes that are rapidly taking place in cleaning industry products, processes, and motives, and how to adapt to them and remain competitive.
ISSA is also offering a DVD of its entire first season of educational clips. These 24 popular educational videos from top consultants are useful for custodial staff training and general quick reference.
