Itron, Inc., a leading provider of meter data acquisition and management software, has launched a new professional services group that will help prospective clients with all facets of metering operations, as well as provide consulting and advisory services for the technology challenges associated with market deregulation and market settlement requirements.
The group will initially focus on retail, distribution, transmission, and generation companies along with independent system operators in need of addressing interval metering, complex billing, load research and load profiling, and market settlement requirements. In addition, the group will be responsible for system deployments of Itron’s full suite of software systems for commercial and industrial metering including delivery of Itron’s complex billing and settlement solution (MV-PBS), Internet data presentment (MV-WEB), and meter data management (MV-STAR) solutions.
