December 17, 2004—Ivara Corporation, a provider of asset reliability solutions, has announced the release of Ivara EXP 4.0; enhanced asset reliability software that will help customers gain new insights and better manage their asset performance challenges. New to version 4.0 are enhanced analytical capabilities, more sophisticated calculations and algorithms to allow the complex analyses customers demand, and the incorporation of key performance indicators that constantly measure the effect of asset reliability on business performance.
Ivara EXP reliability software enables maintenance and operations to work together on the common goal of asset performance. The software collects, stores, displays, analyzes and manages all asset condition and state information to determine the right work to do on the right equipment at the right time. The result is a measurable increase in reliability that provides a higher return on asset investment, reduced maintenance costs and downtime, resulting in increased output and profitability, as well as improved safety and environmental performance.
Ivara EXP accepts data from online sources, predictive maintenance technologies, RCM findings and visual (or other sensory) inspections collected from operator rounds or routine inspections. It analyses the data and presents the results visually in many forms, such as trending graphs and flashing alarms. EXP then triggers the appropriate maintenance work in the company’s Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Key performance indicators provide comprehensive metrics and tangible evidence on how the reliability of equipment improves business performance.
